We can provide you with a PEACe advisor free-of-charge for PEACe Local HR Advice Surgeries run in partnership with your organisation.  The surgery can run for one or two half-days a year in your London borough.

The sessions offer advice to voluntary and community sector organisations on a range of HR and employment topics including:

• advice on all aspects of HR policy and practice including 'speedy check' service for new or changing policies
• troubleshooting problem areas such as performance management or managing sickness
• confidential advice on disciplinary and grievance matters
• advice on handling conflict and having difficult conversations.

All we ask of partner organisations is that they:

• actively promote the PEACe Local surgery acknowledging our free advice offer and make every effort to fill each surgery session
• undertake all booking and organisational arrangements including handling all enquiries, bookings and confirmations
• hold a reserve list to cover last minute cancellations and adopt a no-show penalty charge policy
• book a suitable room and provide light refreshments
• provide us (at least 1 week in advance) with completed pre-appointment questionnaires for each booking. 

All we ask of organisations booked into a surgery is that they:

• commit to attending - these sessions are valuable and we want to make sure they are used
• complete the pre-appointment questionnaire in time for PEACe to receive it at least a week before the surgery - this will ensure you get the maximum from the session.
