PEACe was set up by London Voluntary Service Council in 1996.  Since that time we have provided support to hundreds of voluntary and community organisations through our telephone helpline and consultancy support.

Our key advisor, Shirley Briggs and our associates have many years' experience of giving HR advice, and have first-hand knowledge and understanding of the particular challenges of the voluntary and charity sector.  The PEACe advisors are also supported by experienced employment lawyers.

• Telephone advice - either as a Pay-as-you-go service for one-off enquiries or the PEACe Plus Subscription with either 14 hours or 35 hours' support and unlimited downloads of resources
• Document bank - instant access to a comprehensive bank information, model policies and templates covering all aspects of HR
• HR health check - a review of your key HR policies and employment contract to ensure compliance with current legislation and provide good practice guidance
• Consultancy - PEACe advisors available for one-off consultancy assignments for in-depth support and workplace mediation
• PEACe training - HR, employment and performance management training programme for CVSs, networks and consortia and individual organisations.
• PEACe Local - a programme of free, half-day HR advice sessions offered through local CVSs and other networks
