London's voluntary and community sector

The voluntary and community sector (VCS) makes a huge contribution to the lives of Londoners, providing a range of services and support to the capital's diverse communities. There are over 40,000 voluntary and community groups in London. Many current national and local policies need input from VCS organisations and the importance and impact of the sector is being recognised and grows and strengthens every day.
