Joining Cascade

There are two types of Cascade membership: Cascade members and Cascade friends.

Organisations will be charged an annual membership fee of £35 to join Cascade.  Any number of staff may then join as members or friends. Organisations will be invoiced once a membership application has been accepted.

Cascade Members:

Membership of Cascade is available to people who have, or who recently have had, a clear information function within their role in a second-tier organisation in London.

All learning opportunities and networking events are reserved primarily for Cascade members only in order to ensure that discussion is based on practical experience of the work.

Cascade Friends:

Friends are:

  • Information/communication workers from front-line VCS organisations, statutory, corporate or private consultancies
  • People interested in the work of Cascade, or interested in communicating regularly with Cascade members, through networking events and through email and hard mailings.

Involvement of friends is at all times discretionary.

Both members and friends must work towards the overall Cascade aim and the main intention behind their involvement must be to improve the services delivered to groups on the ground, not for furthering their own funding or business interests.
