Sub-Group Projects
The sub-group has been successful in securing funds from Capacitybuilders to hold a series of premises 'road shows' in each of the five London sub-regions. The group has also published a London 'A to Z of Premises Support' guide advertising where to go for advice on all premises-related issues.
These collaborative road shows will highlight the raft of challenges within the premises arena and brief organisations on where they can signpost their frontline clients for professional premises advice and support in London.
This proactive outreach approach (taking into account equalities issues and 'hard to reach' groups) is aimed at:
- Generating interest from organisations which don't currently access premises services
- Enabling continuing improvements to service provision by premises organisations through dialogue with frontline service users
- Increasing cross-borough sharing of best practice and peer to peer learning
