VSF Case Studies report 2009
VSF is proud to present this portfolio of 29 case studies that give powerful examples of the valuable and wide-ranging work of members making significant improvements to the lives of the most disadvantaged and marginalised Londoners, on issues that affect all Londoners.
This report is entitled 'Regional action, local benefit'. VSF strongly believes that one of the key elements of the added value of London Councils’ funding is that it is cross-borough and pan-London and addresses challenges that face all Londoners.
London Councils’ cross-borough and pan London funding complements the work of London’s Local Authorities; allows strategic provision of ‘joined-up’ services; helps to raise the voices of those communities in London that remain unheard; supports work that is not borough specific; enables specialist service provision that is accessible to all Londoners; encourages efficient cross-borough working and generates cost savings.
